Chris Nam Jun Cho, DDS
Dr. Cho grew up wanting to become an altruistic health care professional similar to his dad who is a pediatrician. He takes pride in restoring patients’ smiles and overall health.
Dr. Cho attended New York University where he earned both his undergraduate degree in biology and his dental degree.
He then completed a 2-year General Practice Residency Program as a Chief Resident at Stony Brook University Hospital. During his residency he focused on prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, pediatric dentistry and hospital dentistry.
As a Chief Resident he took an interest in periodontal and implant surgery and went on to complete the Post-Graduate Periodontics Program at Columbia University.
In addition, Dr. Cho participated in a variety of outreach and volunteer programs including community pediatric outreaches and volunteering at Soong Duk Rehabilitation Center, among others.
Dr. Cho has worked to achieve the prestigious title of Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is Board Certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery.
Dr. Cho believes in the importance of educating and treating patients about periodontal disease and is an active member of the following dental societies:
- American Dental Association
- American Academy of Periodontology
- Northeastern Society of Periodontists
Outside the office, Dr. Cho enjoys physical activities such as working out at the gym, running and golfing, He also enjoys cooking, listening to music, and spending time with his family, friends and two cats, Dobby and Aerie.
