First Visit
What Will Happen On My First Visit?
Your first visit will last about one hour. The doctor and his assistant will take an in-depth medical and dental history, perform a thorough periodontal examination and take any necessary digital x-rays. For a dental implant consultation, Dr. Wetzler or Dr. Cho may recommend a 3D cone beam x-ray to evaluate bone volume. Drs. Wetzler or Cho will measure for bone loss, loose teeth, bite analysis, oral cancer screening, TMJ and other signs of periodontal disease. He will carefully explain the nature of your condition, your treatment options and their benefits. We are committed to providing the most conservative, state of the art and comfortable treatment available.
